Lois Hollan is a native New Yorker, now living and working in Washington, DC. Just after the 1980 Olympic Winter Games in Lake Placid, she moved to the Adirondack North Country and served as the Public Information Officer of Lake Placid, where she--and a handful of other women--trained and became pioneer women bobsled drivers.
